Fa parte della parrocchia della Madonna della Catena e risale al 1700.

È ubicata nella piazzetta del quartiere Baglio, sovrastata da un piccolo campanile ed un portale in pietra bianca.

All’interno si trova un crocifisso un legno di pregevole fattura ed un altare con tarsie marmoree.

Adiacente la chiesetta è situata la villa dello scienziato Stanislao Cannizzaro; un tempo annessa alla villa, la chiesa era riservata come cappella privata.

Th echurch of the holy crucifix belongs to the parish dedicated to the Madonna of the chain and it dates from the 18 th century.

It is located in the little square of the Baglio quarter, dominated by a small bell tower and a white stone portal.

Inside there is a Crucifix, made with fire wood and an altar with marble in laids.

Once, the church was annexed to the Stanislao Cannizzaro's villa as a private chapel.
